Le Bistro de Dan Roro

On Wednesday 14th March, pupils from Years 5, 6 and 7 watched a play in French called ‘Le Bistro de Dan Roro’. It was a fun, interactive and educational production performed by a French native entertainer. Le spectacle était fantastique!

Year 7 visit the home of Henry VIII and the Tudor Dynasty

Year 7 had a fantastic trip to Hampton Court Palace on Tuesday 13th March.  They started the day with a taught session by a member of the Palace’s education team, aptly dressed as a Tudor servant.  With her help, pupils explored the religious rollercoaster that was the Tudor period, with the swings between Catholicism and Protestantism over the reins of Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary and Elizabeth I.

Senior Music Competition

Our talented musicians took part in the annual Senior Music Competition on Tuesday 6th March. There were superb performances on brass, wind, woodwind, strings, piano, drums and voice. Performances were confident and the audience enjoyed the varied repertoire. Well done everyone!

Junior Music Competition

Pupils from Year 3 and 4 took part in the Junior Music Competition on Tuesday 6th March and for some of our young musicians, it was the first time they had played on stage in front of an audience. Many thanks to Dr Philip Aldred, Chief Examiner at London College of Music for judging the competition.
