Year 2 focus on Science and DT at Enginuity

As part of their Science and DT work this week, our Year 2 children ventured to Enginuity, an interactive Design and Technology Centre and Museum in Coalbrookdale, Shropshire.

A great museum for young, enquiring minds, the children enjoyed the interactive exhibits, finding out how much electricity they could generate, how the water cycle worked and how to pull a steam engine.

They were also given the opportunity to get creative with a design challenge – to create a parachute and basket which could safely transport a raw egg from a height of 5 metres.  They all had a great time and enjoyed working as part of a team.
