Winterfold hosts Parent Representatives

The Headmistress Mrs Toms had lunch with Winterfold’s Parent Representatives on Tuesday 17th October. This dedicated team of volunteers organises social gatherings and acts as the lynchpin in their Year group’s social calendar. The Parent Reps are an excellent point of contact between the School and the parents of each Year group.  

Winterfold warmly welcomes Armstrong Mthembu, Headmaster of our Sister School Ncemaneni

  Pupils at Winterfold School have given a rapturous welcome to Armstrong Mthembu, Headmaster of Ncemaneni Primary School, South Africa today (17.10.17) as he arrived for his first  visit to the School. Year 3 Discover History

Year 3 took part in a Discover History day on Friday, 13th October, identifying fur from Stone Age animals and learning about ancient burials. There was lots of fun had dressing up, role playing and discovering more about history through the ages.  

Tamworth Castle

Year 1 pupils visited Tamworth Castle on Tuesday, 10th October. The building is one of the best preserved motte-and-bailey castles in England. The pupils enjoyed role-playing as servants whilst learning how to lay a table correctly and dressing up in medieval clothing.
