Winterfold’s Year 6 artists experience ‘Nature in Art’

Winterfold’s Year 6 pupils explored the beautiful grounds of Wallsworth Hall in Twigworth, Gloucestershire on Tuesday 17th October. Inside the Hall, pupils had the opportunity to walk around the different exhibition spaces which house more traditional and contemporary art works.

Feeling inspired, Year 6 went on to take part in two workshops. Firstly, they learnt all about Impressionism and created acrylic paintings in the same style as Claude Monet. They were then taught an interesting new technique using PVA glue to encase Autumn leaves into bowls.
