Winterfold pupils have recently painted stones to contribute to the Chaddesley Parish celebration of The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. These will be displayed outside St Cassian’s Church. Some lovely designs seen.

Reception’s Morning in Forest School
Reception had a fun morning in Forest school learning how to build shelters. They used the ‘Y’ sticks, tarps, ropes, mallets and pegs to build a den they could play in. There was some great team work from all involved!
Year 1’s New Topic ‘Superworm’
Year 1 have started their new topic in English ‘Superworm’. We played detectives with one person given the front cover having to describe to their friend what they could see. They later put these descriptions into their books.
Fly Winterfold
Reception decided they wanted an airport as a role play area this term to go with our topic ‘Ticket to Ride’. They each made a passport and a boarding pass and went through check in and passport control at the airport. They are all excited to fly around the world on ‘Fly Winterfold’.
