Winterfold’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

Winterfold School recently celebrated Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. From Nursery to Year 8, the whole School congregated outside along the driveway for a street party. With food, music, laughter and lots of activities, Winterfold School students and teachers had a fantastic time starting celebrations for the event.

After the street party, both Winterfold students, staff, parents and friends, came together in a Friends of Winterfold Jubilee Fete. There were performances from the talented Groove Diggers, bouncy castles, stalls, and laughter that could be heard for miles as some lucky teachers were put in the stocks with wet sponges being thrown.

A tree planting ceremony was also held to mark the tremendous occasion of the Platinum Jubilee. Everyone had a fantastic time, and it was an event to mark the ages
