Year 6 have been given roles in the Government and are looking at how to safely reopen shops, cinemas and campsites. There have been some fantastic and mature presentations. Well done.

Percussion Mini Me – Mrs Berry

Fun maths quests
In maths, Year 3 children have been working hard on direction and co-ordinates. They have designed treasure maps and learned how to use their new skills to direct each other to find the hidden treasure.

Year 1 have been putting the finishing touches to their paintings inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s Starry Night.
Pupils create virtual ‘residential’ for classmates on Minecraft
Since Year 4 couldn’t go on their residential this year, Cara, Annie and Freya have decided to create a virtual PGL site on Minecraft for all of Year 4 to play on. What great initiative – well done girls.
Kindergarten 2 children prepare for Reception
Our KG2 children have loved their time in Kindergarten and are now getting ready to move up to Reception. They have been learning to blend letter sounds to read words, identifying numbers 1 to 20 and had fun expressing their creative skills.
3D Town Maps
Year 2 pupils were set the task of designing, planning and then building a 3D town map as part of their topic work on Map Skills.
Carnival of the Animals
Year 5 and 6 have been learning about the Carnival of the Animals by Saint-Saëns. Having listened to the music, they have been inspired to create their own compositions.
