We are usually treated to a wonderful Vocal Soirée in our Performing Arts Centre during the summer term. This year, the event has been celebrated virtually and showcases a selection of Mrs Richardson’s extremely talented pupils.

Mini-beasts and bee hives
Children in Kindergarten 2 are enjoying being back at School and have been on a mini-beast hunt around the school grounds. They have also been learning about bees, how honey is made and have created a beehive using hexagon shapes.
Year 8 Leavers’ Programme – Minecraft
As part of their Leavers’ Programme, our Year 8 pupils have enjoyed a fun Minecraft evening. They were tasked with building a house fit for a special agent, whilst blending into its surroundings.
Reception children – back enjoying lessons
Our Reception children have been enjoying activities to get a better understanding of money. They’ve been learning to recognise coins, how to count them and how to add coins up to pay for items.
Drums and Percussion Virtual Mini Me – Mrs Berry
Mrs Berry’s Drum & Percussion pupils enjoyed an excellent virtual Mini Me concert recently. Well done everyone.
The Big Sing
Our talented Winterfold singers from Years 3 to 8 have produced an excellent rendition of Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds as part of our Virtual School Choir for The Big Sing.
Ncemaneni News
Thanks to the fundraising by the Winterfold community, the ‘learners’ at our sister school Ncemaneni Primary now have a new library and computer room to help improve their literacy and IT skills. The wonderful teaching team, led by Armstrong Mthembu, now have the facilities to make a real difference.

Virtual Mini Me Concert – Brass
Winterfold Music has produced its first virtual Mini Me Concert, featuring Mr Sproston’s brass pupils on the horn, trombone and euphonium.
Croquet on the Lawn
Our Keyworker children have been playing croquet at lunchtime and enjoying our lovely grounds.
