Carnival of the Animals
Our Year 5 and 6 pupils have been learning about Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals and have been asked to make their own compositions, inspired by the music.
The children listened to the music, then created their own artwork or musical interpretation. The results have been excellent. We’ve had some lovely images and everything from lions, kangaroos, tortoises, elephants and fossils represented through music played on clarinet, drums, saxophone, flute, cello and piano.
