Congratulations to Louis M and Heydon S who qualified for the Global round of The Scholar’s Cup at the Hague. The Winterfold scholars spent five days in Holland, with activities ranging from a treasure hunt at Rotterdam Zoo, the Scholar’s Challenge consisting of a 150 question exam, debating, collaborative essay writing, the Scholar’s Bowl, a debate showcase and a talent show. Fifty-one countries were also given the opportunity to share their cultural traditions. This was an amazing experience for Louis and Heydon, working with some of the best scholars in the world. They loved every minute of it.
