Winterfold Schools' Year 1 pupils learn more about the Victorians, Masters and Servants at Hanbury Hall, Worcestershire

Year 1 pupils visited Hanbury Hall in Droitwich and discovered what life was like in 1870 at this William and Mary-style country house for the Vernon family and their servants.
In this interactive lesson, the children met Sir Harry and Lady Georgina Vernon at the start of their day.  They then went downstairs to learn what life was like as a servant with the help of the housekeeper and butler, from learning how to curtsy and bow, to laying a dinner table.
