Winterfold School's Year 2 pupils step back in time during their visit to Black Country Living Museum, West Midlands

On Tuesday 19th September, Year 2 pupils took a step back in time when they visited one of the largest open air museums in the UK, the Black Country Living Museum, to support their Art topic, “If Buildings Could Speak”.
The children enjoyed visiting the many shops and homes at the museum, where they
learnt about life during the 1800’s and the early 20th Century from their charismatic Victorian guides.  They took part in Victorian games and even went to school where they wrote on slates and had a go at reciting the alphabet backwards.
