‘The Inn-Spectors’
It was census time in Bethlehem and the inn-spectors were sent to check that all the accommodation was up to scratch. They were horrified to discover that at one of the inns, some of the visitors had been put in the stable and a baby had been born amongst the animals.
However, as Mary, Joseph and the donkey told their story and the special visitors explained the good news, the inn-spectors realised that this was no ordinary baby and they declared that the stable was fit for a king.
