Year 6 spent a fascinating morning at Bromsgrove School visiting the SATIPS art exhibition and taking part in an art workshop by the award winning Mark Lippett.
Mark’s atmospheric drawings and paintings depict quiet and unpopulated landscapes, both urban and natural. Working mostly in drawing and painting, Mark’s work is detailed but expressive. He uses a wide variety of mark making techniques in different mediums favouring pencils and acrylic paint. Themes of urban decay, solitude and stillness run throughout most of his work.
