(Yr) Five go back to school in a victorian town

On Thursday 8th February, our Year 5 pupils enjoyed an educational trip to Blists Hill, Victorian Town at Ironbridge Museum.

In full Victorian costume, the pupils had morning assembly hymn practice and prayers, then the reciting of Maths times tables was the order of the day, with strict instructions on how to answer the teacher!

A visit to the Mine Manager’s house, the baker, the candle stick maker, the Printer, the Chemist and finally the Sweet Shop ensured the day was a resounding success.
