Greenfingers Gardening Launch

The launch of ‘Greenfingers’ and the official opening of our new gardening club polytunnel took place at Winterfold on the afternoon of 29th February. Special guest, John Massey (Old Bromsgrovian) from Ashwood Nurseries, cut the ribbon and presented the Greenfingers team with their RHS Level 5 Gardening Award.

The Greenfingers Executive team presented their findings confidently to an audience of over 60 people – parents, pupils and staff – outlining what they have done since the start of the year, how they manage finances and marketing, and what their plans are for the future.

Well done to the pupils, as well as Mr Shaw and Mr Devereux, for their hard work and dedication to the project. There is lots more to come from the Greenfingers team – and don’t forget to check out their Spring Sale next month.
