A Brief History of Music – CBSO at Symphony Hall

Pupils from Year 5 and 6 and members of our orchestra had a special treat on Friday when they attended a CBSO concert at Symphony Hall, Birmingham.  With symphonic highlights, from the elegance of the baroque era to the powerful music of today, the children journeyed through five centuries in an hour.  The concert was presented by Tom Redmond who recently presented the BBC’s ‘Ten Pieces’ and conducted by the CBSO’s associate conductor Michael Seal.
