A hair raising experience for the Little Princess Trust

Congratulations to Lucy W, who has raised £1,100 for The Little Princess Trust, by being sponsored to have twelve inches cut off her hair.

The Little Princess Trust provides free real hair wigs to children and young people up to the age of 24, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions.

Lucy, who is in Year 1, had the idea that it would be a nice idea to help someone have a wig for Christmas.  With Lucy’s help, the charity was able to make two more wigs for children and  further support the development of less aggressive and less toxic cancer treatments. Four years ago, thanks to the huge efforts of fantastic fundraisers like Lucy, the charity was able to begin funding academics and organisations involved in researching the causes of paediatric cancer.
