The school’s annual Carol Service, held on Thursday, proved to be the shining centrepiece of this year’s Christmas celebrations, bringing together pupils, staff, families, and parish members for an evening rich in tradition, music, and festive spirit. The event, staged in the sports hall, which was transformed with soft lighting and glowing candles, highlighted the depth of the school’s religious life while showcasing the musical talents of the entire Prep School.
Every pupil played a part in the service, contributing to an atmosphere of unity and celebration. From the opening hymn to the final blessing, the children performed with sincerity, reverence, and a clear sense of pride in their roles. Year 8 pupils took on a central role by leading the congregation through a series of Scripture readings that told the story of the Nativity.
