A Welcome from the Headmistress
‘We believe in the individual. We aim to develop the whole child, to discover and nurture their special talents within a supportive educational community’

At Winterfold, we believe in the individual. Every child is unique, and our aim is to develop the whole child — academically, emotionally, morally and spiritually — within a warm and supportive community.
Rooted in The Winterfold Way, our ethos celebrates childhood, encourages curiosity, and promotes a lifelong love of learning. We offer firm academic foundations alongside the freedom to explore, play, and grow. This balanced approach allows children to flourish — not only as learners, but as confident, kind and well-rounded individuals.
Set in over 40 acres of beautiful Worcestershire countryside, Winterfold provides space to learn, create and thrive. Our facilities support a broad and stimulating curriculum enriched by outdoor learning, sport, music, performing arts and an exceptional co-curricular programme. Children are encouraged to discover their passions, develop independence and build happy memories that last a lifetime.
As a Catholic Heritage School, we promote values of respect, compassion and community. While rooted in Christian tradition, we welcome families of all faiths and backgrounds, and foster an environment where every child feels valued, safe and supported.
Pastoral care is at the heart of everything we do. Our small class sizes, strong teacher-pupil relationships, and close communication with parents ensure that every child is known, understood, and encouraged to reach their full potential. We are proud of the positive, respectful atmosphere that runs throughout our school.
Most of our pupils continue to Bromsgrove School, with many achieving scholarships. But more importantly, they leave Winterfold with confidence, strong values, and a sense of joy and purpose that will carry them into senior school and beyond.
I warmly invite you to visit us and experience for yourself the spirit, care and ambition that define Winterfold. I look forward to welcoming you.
