It has been a week of celebrations at Peacock Lodge as children across Early Years have been awarded their Outdoor Learning badges.
Kindergarten One children and their families came together for a special afternoon tea, where the children proudly received their very first badges, recognising the time they have spent exploring and learning outdoors this year.
The sunshine provided the perfect backdrop for Kindergarten Two, who celebrated achieving their Summer Challenge badge with a well-deserved ice cream treat.
Meanwhile, Reception followed a series of minibeast-themed clues to track down their final Minibeast badge before enjoying some ‘garden game’ fun and cooling off in the water.
It has been a wonderful year filled with curiosity, creativity and discovery, as the children have embraced the outdoors and developed new skills through hands-on experiences. Their adventures in nature have nurtured confidence, imagination and a lifelong love of learning beyond the classroom.
