Year 1 learn about nutrition at Churchfields and Fuso

Year 1 enjoyed an amazing trip to learn more about food on Tuesday 14th May.

First stop was Churchfields near Droitwich, where the children learned about how cows are milked and how ice cream is made, and sampling the end product, of course.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the children weren’t able to visit Pizza Express as planned, however, Fuso in Bromsgrove stepped up to the plate and eighteen 5 and 6 year olds were kindly accommodated. The children learned about the various pizza toppings, then had a go at making their own. The highlight was getting to eat what they had made and it was generally agreed that they were ‘the best pizzas ever’.
