Sing-It

Sing-It is a concept that we came up with here at WInterfold many years ago. it allows us to welcome children from local primary schools to come and take part in a day of song and music making. This year’s event took place on Friday 13th March and we welcomed children from Belbroughton C.E Primary and Chaddesley Corbett Endowed Primary to join our own Year 3 and 4 children.  Thoroughout the day, the pupils were treated to singing lessons by our Vocal Coach Mrs Richardson.

After a day of vocal coaching and a lovely lunch, Sing-It culminated in a wonderful concert at the end of the day, where pupils performed Wishy Washy Washerwoman, Count on Me by Bruno Mars and a lively rendition of The Lion Sleeps Tonight, acccompanied by the School’s house band The Groove Diggers to give our visitors a real ‘ensemble’ experience.
