Our Choir have just returned from a weekend trip to Rome where they performed in two Venues, the Vatican and the Pantheon. The pupils sang beautifully and all the hard work certainly paid off. On a number of occasions the pupils were commended by members of the public, and even gathered a crowd when they rehearsed, Acapella, on the street outside of the Pantheon.
A hugely proud moment in the history of Winterfold was born when the Headmaster accepted a Papal Blessing on behalf of the whole school.
With site seeing in their spare time, it was a thoroughly enjoyable trip and a wonderful experience for all who went, Staff, Pupils and Parents.
Below, the order of events and photographs galore! Thank you to all the Staff members and Parents for the regular updates throughout the trip.
