Leaving on a Jet Plane

Year 3 recently went on a fantastic trip to Birmingham Airport to visit the Learning Hub and the Departure terminals.

In CDT, the children are building their own airports, so this trip was a super way for the children to draw their plans, as well as experience the airport in a different way. They had an amazing view of the planes taking off and landing from the gallery, where they were keeping a tally of the number they saw for Maths.

The children loved making their own passports, creating boarding passes and drawing the runway.

Everyone was on their best behaviour and they were a real pleasure to take out for the day. Well done to Year 3!
