The Good Shepherd Appeal for Tabor House

Pre-Prep and Prep School pupils listened to a talk on Tuesday by Lucy from Father Hudson’s about The Good Shepherd Appeal.   Lucy’s talk highlighted the new initiative in Digbeth, Birmingham, Tabor House which provides safety, support, warmth and encouragement to people experiencing homelessness.

Tabor House is a collaborative project between the Catholic Archdiocese of Birmingham, Father Hudson’s Care, Housing Justice, Irish in Birmingham, St Vincent de Paul Society, local corporate supporters and donors, the Birmingham Rough Sleepers’ Team (Midland Heart) and local homelessness specialists.

Next week, our children will start collecting their loose change over the period of Lent and the donation will be made at Easter.
