Early Years visit Smart Trees

Reception children have had a fantastic week to round off their first term. It has been full of fun and laughter and preparation for the coming of Christmas, with cards, calendars and decorations to take home.

The children particularly enjoyed their trip to Smart Trees and the chance to visit Father Christmas. It was lovely to see his reindeer being so well cared for ready for their busy night on Christmas Eve.  They have also discussed the true meaning of Christmas and the importance of thinking of others, especially at this time of year.
