Classics Trip to Bath

Year 8 enjoyed a beautiful spring day in Bath, where they visited the Roman Baths as part of their classics curriculum.  The children had free-rein of the museum in the morning and were able to walk around the tour at leisure using the extremely informative audio-guides.  Following lunch in a nearby hall, and the now traditional stop at Ye Olde Fudge Shoppe, they returned to the museum for a guided tour where they were told about the history of Bath and the Roman remains.

This year, all children bravely sampled the Bath Spring Water – with somewhat mixed reviews. A good time was had by all.
