Circus Skills Workshop
This term, Year 3 are studying the Circus as part of their Drama Curriculum with Miss Howarth.
The children will be asked to mime certain circus skills as part of a mock audition to a visiting ringmaster.
On Wednesday 26th April, Year 3 were involved in a Circus Skills workshop to support their mock audition. Paul from Shooting Stars Circus taught the children to spin plates, perform tricks with flower sticks and how to act in a clown-like way. The children were enthusiastic and energetic within the session, providing a captive audience and willing participants. Miss Roberts and Mrs Myles learnt a few new tricks too.
