Art Trip to Jackfield Tile Museum
On Tuesday 14th March, Year 5 pupils visited Jackfield Tile Museum for a tile decorating workshop.
The children had spent time before their visit planning their designs which reflected their interests. These ranged from flowers, to animals and even emojis!
The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the activity – it was surprisingly tricky squeezing the clay slip onto their tiles, but very engaging. The tiles were left for firing and will be at school in two weeks. Year 5 cannot wait to see how they turn out!
