Archaeology Day
On Thursday 11th May, Year 6 pupils had an ‘introduction to Archaeology’ by Discover History.
After excavating a ‘test pit’ and locating their finds, pupils completed their finds records and drew the archaeology. They were then asked to identify and reconstruct their finds. Using the finds as evidence, they were able to tell the story of past lives.
A highlight of the day was looking at skeletons and the chance to solve a murder mystery.
