WINTERFOLD PLANS FOR THE FUTURE

Planning permission and funding are now in place for our new classroom block and building is due to start very soon. The Campaign for the Perfoming Arts continues apace and we hope to be able to build our new Performing Arts Centre in the not too distant future.

Our thanks go to all who have supported our Development Campaign so far, for your generosity in helping the Campaign reach £257,000. This total is made up by donations from current and former parents, members of Staff and the Governors, former pupils of Penryn and Winterfold and other well-wishers who want to see that our school now, and for many years to come, will benefit from this most exciting development.

We have planning permission for the Performing Arts Centre and work will start as soon as funds permit. We have now started approaches to charitable grant-making trusts and to local and regional businesses, but we still need more support from the home team to give credibility to our case for support from wider afield.

Of course we still need to get £500,000, and it’s thanks to the generosity of so many that we have come this far; but we hope - if you haven’t given already - that you will help us reach our interim target of £300,000. This will help us in our approaches to those outside the immediate Winterfold family.
