Royal Visit

The visit of HRH The Earl of Wessex on Thursday 1st December was a real highlight in the Winterfold calendar! His arrival caused great excitement as the helicopter flew down past the waiting children before landing on the playing fields. He then drove down the school drive which was lined by cheering, flag-waving children! The Earl toured the school and chatted to children, staff and visitors. He then heard two short pieces performed by the Choir and Orchestra before officially opening the new Performing Arts Centre. A great day in the school’s history!

Performing Arts Centre Completed

The new Performing Arts Centre has been completed on schedule and will be in use from the start of the Christmas term. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the appeal over the past four years which has enabled us to build this first class facility for Music, Drama and Dance. An official opening will take place in December.
