Reports

Academic progress is closely observed. Throughout the term there are regular formal meetings of all the teaching staff, when the progress of each child in the School is assessed and any problems can be considered. Interim Reports are sent out approximately every three weeks to advise you of your child’s progress in each subject. At the end of term you will receive a Full Report about your child.

There are regular Parents' Evenings, to which parents are warmly invited, but the staff are always happy to discuss your child's progress in an informal way. They are usually available at the start of the working day for a quick word, but if a longer meeting is required, an appointment can easily be arranged. The Headmaster is also very accessible and is always ready to see parents who have any concerns or worries.

Every week you will receive a Newsletter with information about what is happening in school, and a ‘Week Ahead’ which details the following week’s events and fixtures.

In addition there are opportunities for contact between parents and staff throughout the year at the many school functions such as concerts, plays, matches, Sports-Day, and the very varied social events hosted by the Friends of Winterfold.
