After Winterfold
Winterfold does not 'feed' any one particular senior school, although we keep in close contact with a great many. As a result we are able to give impartial, professional advice when the time comes for you to think about your child’s senior school. We know the schools and we know your child and are therefore in a good position to advise you on the one best suited to your child.
Most Winterfold Leavers will tend to favour the more local independent schools - Bromsgrove, Dodderhill, King Edward's Birmingham, Old Swinford, The Royal Grammer School, King's Worcester, Holy Trinity, St Mary's Worcester.
Others will choose more traditional boarding schools such as Malvern St James, Cheltenham Ladies, Moreton Hall, Oldswinford, Rugby, Shrewsbury, Cheltenham, Malvern, Ellesmere, Bredon, Bedstone and others.
The preparation your child receives at Winterfold is designed to qualify them for entry to whichever school they choose. Our teaching is such that all children are normally successful in obtaining a place at their first choice school and many receive academic awards and scholarships. In the last 6 years our children have gained a staggering 77 awards to a wide variety of schools.
