Academic information
The academic curriculum at Winterfold follows the National Curriculum but offers more flexibility and choice. Pupils will automatically be entered for Keystage 1 and 2 tests at age seven and eleven but we expect that most children will work beyond the National Curriculum levels, and with greater breadth.
The School has fully adopted the National Curriculum as the basis of its syllabus, and the progress of each child is continuously assessed and recorded. Children will automatically be entered for Keystage 1 and 2 tests at age seven and eleven.

Children will normally sit entrance exams and tests for their senior school at the appropriate time in Mathematics and English, and some or all of: French, Verbal Reasoning, Latin, Science, History, Geography, and Religious Education.
